The Academy Youth Network is about networking and devising new engagement initiatives for young students. Meeting as a body at least twice a year we aim to come up with imaginative, creative, stimulating ideas to get young students interacting with our members.

“The Youth Network is made up of younger professionals with less than 10 years’ experience within the property industry. Our main aims are to help build the list of partnering schools and youth groups as well as coming up with creative ways to engage with the young people connected to these partners. Coming from an underprivileged background myself and being the first person in my family to attend university and enter the property industry, I have a personal connection with the aims of the Academy.

I look forward to continuing as Chair of the Youth Network and helping open the door and create opportunities for others from a similar background to myself.”

Networking Opportunities

The Youth Board meet regularly through networking events with expert guest speakers.

In May 2023, the Youth Board had one of their regular meet ups, joined by Eric Adler, President and CEO of PGIM Real Estate.

They discussed ESG and the long and short term future of the real estate and real assets sector, before discussing the future of the Academy Youth Board.

Social Events

The Academy Youth Network also meet regularly for informal social events.

If you have been working in real estate or real assets for 10 years or less, get in touch to meet other colleagues in the sector and help plan amazing opportunities for young people to get involved in real estate.
